Family Support Worker

We are currently assisting a local authority in Brent with the recruitment of an experienced Family Support Worker to join their Early Help Team!
As a Family Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to directly work with and provide assistance to families with children and young people. This will involve collaborating with relevant professionals and agencies to ensure positive outcomes and opportunities for children and young people in Worcestershire.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Conducting direct work and offering support to children, parents, and other relatives/carers as part of assessments, plans, or reviews.
Supervising contact between children and their families during assessments, plans, or reviews.
Empowering and encouraging parents/carers to take responsibility for meeting their children's needs.
Assisting in the care of children and families at high risk of breakdown by conducting assessments and interventions.
Collaborating with other agencies as part of a team focused on supporting the family.
Adapting your work approach based on the specific needs of children and families.To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
Experience in direct work with children and families.
