The Business and Leadership team plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, employer-responsive apprenticeship and professional training. We specialise in leadership and management development, including the delivery of the Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship and ILM-accredited qualifications, helping learners and professionals advance their careers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated FE Lecturer to join our Business and Leadership team, supporting the planning and delivery of the Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship and a suite of ILM-accredited short courses.

This is a part-time opportunity (21 hours per week) that includes regular travel to visit apprentices in their workplaces, alongside scheduled teaching on Mondays at our Derby Campus.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, coaching apprentices in both on- and off-the-job learning, and ensuring high standards of progress tracking and mentoring. Whether in the classroom, online, or in the workplace, your role will be pivotal in helping learners succeed and grow into confident, skilled professionals.

On appointment, the job title for this role will be FE Business and Leadership Instructor/Mentor.

About You

We are seeking a qualified professional with significant industrial experience in an operational management role and a strong background in teaching business management or leadership at Level 5. The ideal candidate will hold the essential qualifications outlined in the job description and demonstrate a proven ability to engage learners effectively, fostering high-quality learning outcomes and an exceptional educational experience.
