Support Worker Location: Wem, Shropshire
Pay rate: Sleep in £9.50, Day rate £13.50 & Waking night rate £14.53 per hour (Weekly or Monthly pay)
Shift Pattern: 8:00am - 20:00pm and 20:00pm - 8:00am.

Do you bring calmness, compassion, and confidence behind the wheel?.We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to care for an individual with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), complex care needs, and mental health challenges in their own home.This role requires more than just completing tasks; it's about understanding and supporting the individual in a meaningful way. We're seeking someone who is patient, attentive, and values every small step forward.
To be successful, you'll need a full manual driving licence to drive an adapted mobility vehicle, confidence in supporting someone with mental health needs and complex care requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively with someone whose communication style may vary.A calm and genuine presence, a good sense of humour, and deep respect for others are also essential qualities for this role.
What youll be doing As a Support Worker, youll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
Providing high-quality support on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis .
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.
