Join Our Team as a Complex Needs Female Support Worker
Location: Drayton, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £13.69 per hour (£26,695.5per annum) plus benefits
Hours: 7.00 am 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent
Driving Requirement: A valid driving license is required (Manual, UK)

What Youll Need Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
Previous experience in a care/support setting
A valid manual UK driving licence
The legal right to live and work in the UK
What Youll Be Doing Supporting daily routines from morning support to bedtime
Planning fun, person-centred activities that boost wellbeing
Contributing to tailored support plans
Building therapeutic relationships that truly make a difference
Keeping accurate support notes every detail matters

John* Youll be supporting John , a vibrant individual with complex needs whos moving into a specially adapted home.
John lives in a single occupancy home which is purposely adapted to meet his complex needs. He loves going out every Friday for KFC, alsotrips to cafés and going on drives. His dad is a big part of his life, so family involvement is key and often has family visiting him.When he is not out and about enjoying himself, he usually likes being at home listening to music(especially classical), Disney films, colouring, and outdoor fun like trampolining and swings in the garden.Routine is very important to James.

Youll be making a real impact with person who have: Learning disabilities, including using communication tools like Makaton or PECs
Working with individuals with autism and/or visual impairments
Experienced with behaviour that is highly challenged and applying Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
