We’re seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance high-performance trading platforms within a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems underpinning complex trade lifecycle processes across multiple asset classes. You’ll play a key role in driving platform stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement, while gaining exposure to modern trading technologies, distributed architectures, and regulatory change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and optimise end-to-end trade lifecycle processes
• Ensure platform stability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement across trading systems and workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and value delivered
• Contribute to regulatory change programmes and strategic initiatives
• Operate within Agile teams, leveraging modern engineering and DevOps practices

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fidessa
• Understanding of Equities, Global Markets, OMS, and Post-Trade processes
• Experience with FIX Protocol
• Proficiency in Java and Linux environments
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, TCL, Unix Shell)
• Experience with Sybase and MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of distributed systems, messaging, and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks (IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS, AMPS)
• Understanding of automated testing and DevOps principles
