Job Description

Field Clinical Specialist (Dentist / Orthodontist)

West Midlands | Field Based

Ideal location: Birmingham, Worcester, Gloucester or surrounding areas

Consult are exclusively partnering with a globally recognised leader in digital dentistry and orthodontic innovation to support the hire of a Field Clinical Specialist across the West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinically qualified Dentist or Orthodontist looking to transition into a field based, education led role, working at the forefront of digital workflows, aligner therapy, and clinical innovation.

The Role

As a Field Clinical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving clinical confidence and adoption across both General Dental and Specialist Orthodontic channels. This is not a sales role in the traditional sense. It is about clinical credibility, education, and influence, supporting customers to maximise outcomes through best in class protocols and digital solutions.

You will:

  • Deliver high quality clinical education and support within dental practices, DSOs and universities
  • Act as a trusted clinical partner to both orthodontists and GDPs
  • Support the adoption of digital workflows, treatment planning and clinical protocols
  • Facilitate peer to peer learning, including roundtables and case discussions
  • Provide clinical insight to commercial and marketing teams to support wider business strategy
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive account growth and engagement

This is a field based position (c.70% travel) across the region.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Dentist or Orthodontist (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Ideally 1 to 3 years’ experience in a clinical or customer facing dental environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver education in both one to one and group settings
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to influence clinical decision making
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage your own territory effectively
  • Comfortable working cross functionally in a fast paced, growth environment

The Opportunity

  • Exposure to cutting edge digital technology and workflows
  • Opportunity to move into a strategic, field based clinical career
  • Work within a high growth, globally backed organisation
  • Ongoing training, development and career progression
  • Collaborative, forward thinking culture with strong clinical and commercial alignment

You will be joining a business widely regarded as a pioneer in digital dentistry, with a strong reputation for innovation, education, and clinical excellence.

Why This Role?

This is an ideal move for someone looking to step away from full time clinical practice and into a role where you can:

  • Influence clinical outcomes at scale
  • Build relationships across a diverse customer base
  • Play a key role in the evolution of digital dentistry

If you're interested in the above role, then please click apply or reach out to Business Manager - Alex Hepworth to discuss further. Consult will endeavour to contact candidates within 14 days of application. However, if you do not hear back after 2 weeks then please assume on this occasion, unfortunately, you have not been successful.
