:Field Manager - Barking East LondonPremier Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a leading national infrastructure & services providerLocations:Barking IG11 0ADWe are currently recruiting for three new Field Managerson behalf of our client, a well-established and growing national organisation.These opportunities are ideal for experiencedfield-based / mobile workforce managersand arenot limited to candidates from the waste or utilities sector.Our client is keen to hear from managers who have led large, geographically spread field teams from sectors such as:Courier & parcel deliveryLogistics & transportField service & engineeringWaste managementFacilities managementUtilities & infrastructureThe Role Field Manager (Permanent)Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of field-based engineers delivering both planned and reactive24/7 services.This is a hands-on, people-focused role within a fast-moving operational environment.Key responsibilities will include:Managing and coordinating field engineers across your regionCarrying out site inspections and operational auditsMonitoring performance, productivity and service deliverySupporting high-profile and complex operational jobsManaging vehicle utilization and fleet issuesEnsuring effective resource planning and availabilityWorking closely with planners and office-based teamsConducting one-to-ones, performance reviews and development meetingsSupporting wellbeing, engagement and retention of field staffManaging disciplinary processes, interviews and reviews in partnership with HRMaintaining high standards of health & safety complianceEnsuring adherence to company policies and proceduresSupporting the Operations and Senior Leadership teams as requiredSalaryBasic salary: £36,000 per annum(depending on experience)On-call bonus allowance included OTE up to £41,500 per annumCompany Vehicle & Fuel Card ProvidedWorking hoursMonday to Friday 40 hours per weekOn-call rotaStart times to be agreed (typically day shifts)Benefits24 days annual leave + bank holidays (32 days total)Company van for business use (no tax)Fully expensed fuel cardOn-site parkingHealth cash planAuto-enrollment pension schemePersonal learning and development supportClear career progression within a growing businessAbout youThis role would suit an experienced Field / Operations Manager who has managed mobile or multi-site teams.You will have:Proven people management experience within a field-based or remote workforceStrong operational and performance management skillsA proactive and supportive leadership styleThe ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skillsA strong commitment to health & safetyA full UK driving licenceExperience within utilities, drainage or wastewater is advantageous, however candidates fromcourier, logistics, transport and other field-based industries are strongly encouraged to apply.To apply or discuss furtherdrop me a line or textLee on 07719 032 601If you are an experienced Field Manager looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity with a business that genuinely invests in its people and career development, we would be pleased to speak with you.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company carCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In personJBRP1_UKTJ
