Job Title: Field Sales EngineerLocation: Slough with international travel£40,000 - £50,000 baseJob number: 155318I am seeking an experienced and motivated Field Sales Engineer to join my clients sales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering knowledge who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement and business development.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting existing customers while identifying new opportunities for growth across a range of industrial sectors. The RoleAs a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships across the UK and into the wider market with international travel 4 6 times a year, providing technical guidance and promoting products, services, and system solutions. The role blends technical understanding with commercial awareness, allowing you to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.You will actively seek new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. This includes managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to quotation, proposal development, and project support.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business opportunities and grow existing accountsPromote products, services, and technical solutions to customersBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholdersManage the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation and deliverySupport customers with hydraulic asset management strategies and system optimisationPrepare reports, quotations, and proposals for customersMaintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunitiesWhat I am Looking ForExperience working withing engineering salesMust have an Engineering Degree.
