Which are you?We’re building a brand-new field sales team, and we need commercially sharp, target-driven Business Development Executives who can win volume transfer deals in the convenience channel.This is about building relationships, showing the benefits of our offering, and securing transfer orders that move serious volume.Up to £31,900 On Target Earnings + Company Car | 3 Month FTC (Launch Team)What You’ll Be DoingAs a Sales Executive, you’ll represent a major wholesaler, selling transfer orders into symbol convenience stores around the Manchester, Warrington, Chester, Blackpool area.Your mission:Quickly establish strong working relationships - you’ll visit stores weeklyInfluence store decision-makersDrive product distribution by selling in weekly deals on offerLand volume transfer ordersThis is performance-led. You’ll have clear targets, clear expectations, and full ownership of your territory.If you treat your patch like your own business, you’ll thrive here.Who Will Succeed in This Business Development Role?We’re specifically looking for salespeople who have experience in one or more of the following:Worked directly for a wholesaler selling into convenience retailers (e.g. Bestway, Booker, Parfetts, Dhamecha, Fillshill, Unitas)Strong van sales experience in the independent retail sectorExperience selling into convenience stores (e.g. Spar, Londis, Costcutter)Food service salesYou’ll also bring:Ability to build rapport quicklyA proven track record of hitting or beating targetsThe resilience to handle objections and still closeA competitive mindset - you play to winA full UK driving licence for at least 12 monthsIf you enjoy the buzz of closing a deal and knowing you’ve outperformed your week before lunchtime Friday, this will suit you.Let’s Be ClearThis is a 3-month fixed-term contract.
