Field Sales Manager (South West UK & MRO Nationals)

We are looking for a driven, energetic and commercially focused Field Sales Manager to take ownership of our independent reseller network across the South West UK, alongside our national MRO accounts across the UK, excluding Northern Ireland. The role is available following the successful progression of the previous postholder, who moved on after four strong years in the position to take up a senior management opportunity elsewhere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with independent resellers across the South West region of the UK, driving mutually beneficial growth.
  • Manage and develop relationships with national MRO accounts to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Carry out regular visits across the customer portfolio to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. Due to the geographical spread of accounts, travel may extend from the South West of England to the North of Scotland.
  • Generate brand demand by working in partnership with the Business Development Team on joint visits, toolbox talks, site audits and presentations to key stakeholders, including senior procurement professionals, health and safety leaders and trade union representatives.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and other relevant industry events in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
  • Use BI reporting and commercial insight to inform decision making and identify opportunities to grow the customer account portfolio.
  • Present regional and account base performance to senior management in a way that challenges thinking, prompts the right questions and supports high impact decision making that delivers tangible commercial results.
  • Conduct market research and identify new product and market opportunities, providing actionable feedback to the Product Development Team.


Role Structure:

  • Responsibility for South West UK independent reseller accounts and UK national MRO accounts, excluding Northern Ireland.
  • South West Region consists of, Wales, West Midlands, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
  • Supported by a dedicated Internal Account Manager.
  • Directly reporting into the Company Directors.


Remuneration Package:

  • Negotiable depending on experience.
  • Quarterly bonus linked to key performance indicators and wider business objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years field sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience working with identical customer base (PPE, MRO companies)
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Based in one of the counties outlined in the Role Structure above
  • A clear passion for sales, teamwork and product.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills.
  • A natural ability to pick up new IT systems, with a strong and demonstratable understanding of Microsoft Office applications, CRM and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Ambitious, proactive and motivated to develop their career.
