Job Role: Field Service Engineer\n Location: Leicester, Leicestershire\n Salary: £30,000-£45,000 (OTE 55K+)\n Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-16.30 + Overtime\n Job Type: Full time, Permanent\n \n The Client:\n Interaction Technical have partnered with a direct manufacturer of plant machinery. Our client, who have been established for over 40 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes. \n\nThe package:\n\n30 days annual leave\nOvertime paid at an enhanced rate\nChristmas shut down\n1 hour per shift lunch paid\nVan & fuel card\n\nChiropractor private medical treatment scheme/ occupational health\nPension scheme\nTool allowance\nCompany sick pay scheme\nDeath in Service Scheme (4 x last P60)\nPrivate medical health (contributory)\nThe Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience working in the Plant,(essential)\nPrevious experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (Essential)\nExperience working on engines would be advantageous\nElectrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience\nA desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own\nRelevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (Essential)\nFull UK Drivers License\nThe Responsibilities:\n\nTravel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.\nDiagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.\nCollaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.\nConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.\nOffer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.\nKeep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.\nCommunicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.\nInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
