We're working with a leading provider of medical imaging equipment that prides itself on low staff turnover, a supportive culture, and genuine career progression. Due to growth, they're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their technical team working on the installation, maintenance, and repair of digital X-ray systems across hospitals and, occasionally, veterinary sites.
This role is ideal for ex-Forces engineers with a strong hands-on background - especially those from REME, the RAF, or the Royal Navy - but is equally open to engineers from other industries with solid experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
About the Role:
Installing, servicing, and repairing the companies and third-party digital X-ray systems Supporting hospital and veterinary clients with professional, customer-focused service Covering a territory primarily across Scotland (e.g. Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen), with some travel to Newcastle and Carlisle Minimal overnight stays - typically once every 1-2 months Collaborating with technical specialists and internal support teams
