Field Service Engineer

Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivatedField Service Engineerto join our growing team. This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to customer sites, and providing hands-on technical support.
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, validation, and repair ofindustrial metal detectors,ensuring customers receive a high standard of service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and installCEIA metal detectorsat customer sites UK wide, with some travel to Ireland.
- Deliver on-sitecustomer trainingon metal detction equipment operation and best practices
- Carry outperformance validationon all makes of industrial metal detectors
- Performcalibration of checkweighers
- Diagnose faults and carry outrepairson industrial metal detection equipment
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in asimilar Field Service Engineer role(preferred)
- Experience working withindustrial inspection equipment, metal detectors, or checkweighers would be advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage travel effectively
- Afull UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly, with over night stays when required.
