About the Company


HTG Trading is looking for a skilled and motivated F-Gas qualified Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. If you’re experienced in refrigeration, catering equipment, or electrical/mechanical service work—and you take pride in delivering high‑quality results—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


About the Role


You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and commissioning of equipment supplied or serviced by HTG Trading. The role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities


  • Attend customer sites to service, maintain, and commission refrigeration and catering equipment to a high standard
  • Achieve strong first‑time‑fix results while using labour and parts cost‑effectively
  • Respond to service calls with a positive, flexible approach aligned with business needs
  • Communicate clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential future business opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to repair and maintenance practices
  • Highlight commercial opportunities to the Sales team
  • Maintain full compliance with company policies and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Provide support and feedback to fellow engineers, supervisors, and call allocators
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by Service Management


Qualifications


  • F-Gas qualification required
  • Proven electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Refrigeration experience is essential
  • Logical approach to fault finding and diagnosis
  • Relevant product knowledge within the sector
