Coffee Machine Field Service Engineer

  • Full time | 28 days paid holiday + 34 rest days on full pay
  • Salary:£37,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Location:West Molesey & Field Based in London and Southeast of England
  • (You must live within a commutable distance of our West Molesey workshop)

About Coffee Cup Equipment Ltd:

We are a family run, espresso machine and grinder rental company. We have been providing a range of equipment from La Marzocco, Wega, Rocket Espresso, Victoria Arduino & Mazzer for 32 years. Our clients range from small cafés and restaurants to chains of coffee shops and pubs.

We are a friendly team and are looking for aField Service Engineerto join us. The successful candidate will have a background in coffee machine maintenance or experience in a field service engineer role. Full training is provided in our workshop and on-site with our experienced service engineers.

About the Role - Coffee Machine Field Service Engineer

You will report to our workshop in West Molesey, but the role is field based across our clients sites in London and the Southeast.

Every third weekend you would be on-call (average callout rate is one callout per weekend) After your on-call weekend, the Monday and Tuesday are given as rest days on full pay, whether you are called out on the weekend or not.

Your duties will include:

  • Installation and setup of espresso machines and grinders
  • Planned servicing of espresso machines and grinders.
  • Reactive repair of espresso machines and grinders.
  • Performing pressure system examinations.
  • Demonstrating equipment to customers.
  • Helping customers with calibration of the equipment.
  • Refurbishing and testing espresso machines in our workshop.

You will demonstrate:

  • A structured and methodical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • A friendly and professional manner, committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive can-do attitude.
