We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Field Service Engineer role Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOELocation: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent  Hours: 40 Hours Responsibilities of theField Service Engineer Repair, refurbishment, installations & commissioning of machinery Travel across the UK and Ireland You will also be expected to travel to Italian Head Office occasionally for training and & machine testing and very occasionally deployed worldwide if required Overtime paid door-to-door outside of normal working hours Full product training will be provided Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer Qualified Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) Ability to read electrical diagrams and fault find from them Ability to mechanically fault find and repair Good fault diagnosis / problem solving skills Basic PLC Fault Finding knowledge Willing to travel within UK & Ireland (Some overseas travel may be required) Willing to work away from home for periods up to 5 days (or more on occasions) Willing to work changeable hours Full Clean Driving License Ability to use MS Office Good Communication Skills Report Writing Skills Able to work independently or part of a team Fluent English spoken and written About Allstaff RecruitmentWe’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
