Field Service Engineer
Location  - Buckinghamshire Salary - £30,000 per annum excellent benefits Working Hours - 8:15am–5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:15am–12:45pm on Friday, with flexibility required to support customer visits.
We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys variety, customer interaction, and working with electro‑mechanical equipment both on-site and across customer locations in the UK and Ireland. As a Service & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, calibration, servicing, and ongoing support of electro‑mechanical equipment. The role involves a mix of office-based work and customer site visits, offering excellent exposure to different technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, calibrate and service electro‑mechanical test equipment Provide planned maintenance support at customer sites across the UK and Ireland Complete accurate service reports and related documentation Deliver customer training on equipment use and basic maintenance Provide day-to-day technical support via ticketing system, email, remote access and phone Ensure all company equipment is operating correctly and is calibrated as required Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical queries and build technical knowledgeWhat We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a service or support engineering role (highly desirable) Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with some electronics exposure A capable problem solver with strong attention to detail Confident communicator, able to engage professionally with customers at all levels Computer literate, including MS Outlook, Word and ExcelThe Package
