What you’ll be doing You’ll be responsible for field service, repairs, and technical support across a wide range of systems, including: Performing service and repair work on a broad scope of specialist communications and IT equipment. Completing installations, testing, and commissioning activities—both standard and bespoke. Liaising directly with customers to plan and prepare field visits. Preparing tools, test equipment, and materials—sometimes with short notice. Producing clear technical reports, timesheets and expense documentation. Maintaining and accounting for allocated vehicles, IT kit, mobile devices, and test instruments. Supporting datacoms and satcom testing, repairs and equipment builds in the workshop when needed. Conducting GMDSS surveys.
