A leading manufacturer of automated machinery is seeking a Service Engineer to join its growing technical team due to continued expansion and an increasing demand for customised machinery solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based installations, fault finding, commissioning, and customer technical support both in the UK and internationally.
The Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and support of specialist production machinery. The role involves a mixture of on-site customer visits, remote support, and collaboration with internal engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
You will also play a key role in ensuring machines perform reliably while supporting customers with troubleshooting, upgrades, and technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of new machinery at customer sites Service, maintenance, and breakdown response for installed equipment Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and control systems Software debugging and commissioning for production line integrations Providing remote diagnostics and technical support for customers Logging service requests and maintaining support documentation Liaising with internal teams regarding service, spa...
