MERITUS are excited to be partnered with a growing Engineering company looking to expand their Field Service / Support team. They're looking for an Electrical focused Field Service Engineer. The role will involve supporting UK based & International clients.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys international travel, fault-finding, and working with complex electrical and mechanical systems. The position offers long-term career development, exposure to cutting-edge OEM equipment, and the opportunity to work worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

Service, maintain, and support electrical and mechanical systems at customer sites worldwide
Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, testing, and inspection of systems and equipment
Install, commission, and validate systems to engineering drawings and project timescales
Provide professional telephone and email technical support to UK and international customers
Build and assemble systems and equipment in line with engineering specifications and production schedules

Required Skills:

Proven experience servicing and supporting OEM equipment in a field service or engineering role
Strong electrical control diagnostics skills with mechanical aptitude
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to defined procedures
Competence using Microsoft Office and computer-based diagnostic tools
Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally, including scheduled weekend support
