Forklift Service Engineer

We are currently hiring for a leading UK provider of forklift and material handling solutions. They are looking to recruit a Forklift Service Engineer to cover the Glasgow area.

This is a field-based role offering stability, strong earning potential and the chance to work with a respected engineering business.


️ Role

  • Carrying out service, maintenance and breakdown repairs on forklifts
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Completing service reports and compliance documentation
  • Ensuring equipment meets safety and inspection standards
  • Communicating clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations
  • Managing your own workload and site visits


What We’re Looking For

  • Approx 5 years experience working on forklifts, plant, or similar mobile equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Confident working independently in the field
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
