Field Service Engineer – Reading

As a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicle wash systems, they are actively seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to work with their clients based in and around the Reading and Berkshire area. Based from home, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining vehicle wash systems and associated equipment, working to SLA’s and providing technical support.

Although previous experience with Vehicle Wash Systems would be helpful, this is not required as they are committed to providing full training and development for the right individual.

Who we are looking for?

  • Bring Your Expertise: Someone with a solid background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, ideally qualified to City and Guilds level.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting: You should be adept at fault-finding to the component level, ensuring systems operate at peak performance.
  • Efficient Stock Management: If required in your area, you will manage stock holding at their local storage facility, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Adaptability: Whether working independently or as part of a team, you thrive in diverse environments.
  • Weathering the Elements: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, you are undaunted by the elements.
  • Ready to Roll: Familiar with traveling to fulfil responsibilities and occasional overnight stays away from home.
  • Flexible Hours: Prepared for occasional early starts and late finishes as needed to meet our commitments.
