About the role As a CfA Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely management & statutory accounting numbers.You will support the delivery of a consistent response to all complex accounting judgements.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of rules-based accounting as assigned by the CfA Finance Manager within the pillar including evidencing or challenging back-up to entries and designing the rules for and keeping them up to date for rules-based accounting processes as required. You will deliver improvements to process or levels of trust and accuracy in the numbers as relevant.You will be responsible for the end-to-end of discrete activity/projects as assigned by the CfA Finance Manager and may complete this for multiple pillars. Salary range - £36,000.00 - 55,000.00
Contract type - This position is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aims for around 1 day a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.
Key responsibilities Service Delivery, Relationship Management Accurate and timely preparation of management & statutory accounting numbers (e.g. journals, balance sheet reconciliations,reviews, calculations & models).
Accurate and timely preparation of complicated rules based accounting and ensuring integrity of accounting.
Responsible for Improving processes and setting expectations and service levels with internal stakeholders.
Facilitate and oversee interactions with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to promote efficient delivery of initiatives and assignments.
Taking initiative in maintaining a role as subject matter expert, including keeping up to date with internal and external development in relevant business/regulatory areas.
Developing a significant working knowledge of relevant finance and business relevant end to end processes.
Identify and facilitate connections between the function and other areas of the organisation by working in consistent ways and creating a collaborative culture with an aligned purpose and outcomes.
Delivering Change & Continuous Improvement Accountable for seeking to make continuous improvements to propositions, processes, controls and/or policies both deliberately and based on feedback and insight from stakeholders, colleagues and customers.
Ensuring Compliance Ensure Compliance with and effective performance of key relevant internal controls and regulatory requirements within teams including those required under the ICF
Handling confidential and sensitive data in a professional manner

Essential skills/experience you’ll need Studying towards an Accounting Qualification
Experience of Oracle financial systems
Experience in a Retail environment
Experience of end to end process improvement
