Youll take a hands-on approach working with budgets, our accounting system as well as dealing with project expenditure and income. Here, everyone is empowered to contribute ideas and solutions, working together across the organisation to deliver high-quality reporting to senior leadership in a faced paced driven environment.About the RoleAs a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of BE-ST. Youll ensure that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting both operational delivery and strategic decision-making.Youll be involved in a wide range of activities including:Processing invoices, purchase orders and supplier payments Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries Supporting project teams to monitor income and expenditure Reconciling accounts and resolving financial queries Assisting with procurement processes in line with public sector regulations Supporting audit preparation and ensuring compliance with financial procedures Youll also contribute to continuous improvement, helping to enhance systems, strengthen financial controls, and develop efficient, user-friendly processes.What Were Looking ForWere looking for someone who is:Detail-oriented, organised and proactive Confident working with financial systemsExperienced in bookkeeping or transactional finance Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders A strong communicator with a collaborative mindset Interested in improving processes and finding smarter ways of working An HND (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting is essential, along with strong Excel and IT skills.Whats in it for you?
