An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced Facilities Management business, supporting a small but dynamic finance team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to develop within a supportive and professional environment.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday. 8am - 4.30pm. Paid for 40 hours.

The Role

You will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accuracy across financial processes while supporting wider business operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing sales and purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing

* Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring financial records are up to date

* Supporting credit control activities and following up on outstanding payments

* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting

* Handling incoming queries via phone and email in a professional manner

* Investigating and resolving account or payment-related queries

* Supporting the team with general finance administration and ad hoc tasks

✅ About You

* Previous experience in a finance or accounts role

* Strong Excel skills and confident using Microsoft Office packages

* Excellent communication skills with a professional approach

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Able to manage workload independently as well as part of a team

* Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Desirable:

* Experience using Joblogic or Accounts IQ

* Background within Facilities Management or a similar industry
