Salary: £55,000 + £4,000 Car Allowance
Bonus: 12% Performance Bonus
Travel: 3-4 times per month
Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially focused Project Accountant / Finance Business Partner to partner closely with Project Managers and the Managing Director in driving financial performance across a portfolio of projects.
This role sits at the centre of project delivery, owning financial control, forecasting and commercial insight to ensure projects are delivered profitably, cash is effectively managed, and risks are proactively mitigated.
Key Responsibilities
Own full project P&L, cash flow forecasting and financial performance tracking across multiple live projects. Manage WIP, sales reserves and revenue recognition, ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial governance. Partner with Project Managers through monthly project reviews, challenging assumptions and identifying risks, errors and commercial opportunities. Provide commercial insight on fixed price contracts, scope changes, delivery risks and customer claims to protect margin and cash. Support the Commercial Director with financial analysis and decision support across the project lifecycle.
