Ambition are supporting a global law firm in their recruitment for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner on an 18 month FTC, to join its high-performing finance team in Bristol. This is a strategic role supporting a key practice group, with scope to influence decision-making across international teams and drive financial performance. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary financial interface between practice group leadership and the wider finance function Deliver strategic financial insights, performance reviews, and partner-level presentations Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes Support pricing strategy and profitability initiatives Collaborate with credit control and local finance teams to manage working capital Provide financial modelling for lateral hires, promotions, and expansion projects Mentor junior analysts and contribute to firmwide financial planning Ideal Candidate Profile ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within professional services Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools
