Finance Business Partner – Shrewsbury – Temporary – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – Circa £40,000 - £45,000 – We are working with a prestigious business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the business on a temporary basis until April 2026, possibly longer.ResponsibilitiesProvide finance business partnering support for three separate sitesAct as the first point of contact on financial matters for the sitesWork with budget managers at the sites and the centralised area budget managers to prepare annual budgets and forecastsAlongside this, the Finance Business Partner will be assigned ad-hoc projects to continually improve the financial reporting and planning of the sitesPrepare and produce management accounts and variance analysisUsing Microsoft excel, design and develop reporting packs, commentary and analysis for budget holdersPrepare annual budget and forecast process for the designated budget holdersReview and challenge budget assumptions to ensure the budgets onward submitted for consolidation are robustSupport the Management Accountant in the consolidation of the whole business budget and 5-year plan for submissionEnsure that cost centres and approval flows for are kept up to date with changes in budget holders and are set up in a manner that aid budget holders and their managers to manage their finances and for reporting, and analysis purposesContinual improvement of budget holders' understanding of process and accounting for their particular areasSkills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role.
