Our client, a local authority in Central London, are looking for an experienced HRA Finance Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their financial operations. Position: Finance Business Partner (HRA)Rate: £43 per hour (Umbrella)Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension Key Responsibilities

To act as a Finance Business Partner for a defined service providing high level financial advice and support to the Directors / Assistant Directors and their Heads of Service. To provide advice and support regarding the financial aspects of local systems. To ensure processes and procedures are robust, confirm to best professional practice and provide value for money. To work collaboratively with Directors and Heads of Service in their departments and to members to ensure an integral part of decision making and a key player in all major pieces of work and projects e.g. procurement exercises, staffing restructures, service re-design. To undertake financial appraisals of planned service changes, identifying any significant financial implications.

Job Requirements

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation. At least 2 years' experience within a Finance Business Partner role or equivalent. Must hold a relevant degree or have significant relevant experience. Must be CCAB qualified with evidence of Continuing Professional Development. Experienced HRA accountant with HRA Business Planning experience and knowledge of rent setting and rent accounting systems.
