With a portfolio of established design-led brands and ambitious expansion plans across the US and Middle East, the business is entering an exciting new phase of international growth driven by both organic and acquisitive strategies.As part of this journey, we are seeking a commercially astute Finance Director to join the leadership team and shape a best-in-class finance function that can support scale, insight, and strategic decision-making.The OpportunityReporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of 25 and take ownership of all financial and management reporting activities across the Group. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to transform finance operations, enhance business partnering, and embed robust processes and controls within a well-established yet evolving international organisation.You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, improving planning and forecasting capabilities, and supporting the executive team with clear, data-driven insights to underpin strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reportingOversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across business unitsDeliver high-quality management and board reporting with clear commercial insightOwn statutory reporting, annual report preparation, and audit processEnsure strong internal controls, risk management, and global tax compliancePartner closely with sales, marketing, design, and manufacturing teams to enhance decision-makingSupport the CFO and executive team on long-term financial strategy and international expansion initiativesBuild and develop a high-performing finance team with a focus on continuous improvementAbout YouACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifiedProven Finance Director or senior finance leadership experience within an AIM-listed environmentStrong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP / IFRS)Track record of leading financial and management reporting, budgeting, and forecastingExperience overseeing audits, tax compliance, and internal control frameworksBackground in an international SME, ideally within retail or manufacturing, would be advantageousCommercially minded, with the ability to influence and partner across non-finance functionsA strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement and building scalable finance operationsWhy Apply?This is a rare opportunity to shape the finance function of a respected, design-led international business at a pivotal stage of growth.
