We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Finance Director to lead and strengthen our clients finance function. This is a senior role for a strategic and detail‑driven finance professional who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys balancing hands‑on leadership with high‑level financial oversight.
You will be responsible for the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong governance while providing clear financial insight to support senior decision‑making. Leading a small, dedicated finance team, you will set high standards for reporting, controls, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all day‑to‑day financial and accounting operations Prepare, review, and analyse financial and management reports Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors Ensure compliance with all relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements Oversee cash flow management and reserve planning Review expenditure and recommend cost efficiencies Ensure accurate processing of supplier payments, expenses, and invoices Oversee VAT returns and support payroll and pension processes Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insight and risk analysis Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration and high performanceWho we are looking for:
Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline Professional qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent) Significant experience in a senior finance role, including leadership responsibility Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting obligations High level of proficiency with accounting systems and Excel Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail Confident communicator, able to explain complex financial information clearlyOn Offer:
