Finance Director job for an engineering business in Milton Keynes paying £90,000-£100,000 Your new company We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Finance Director to lead a high-performing finance function within a dynamic organisation at the forefront of engineering innovation.

Your new role Reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust governance and driving continuous improvement across finance systems and processes. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will provide expert advice to the Executive Team and budget holders, while managing relationships with external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) with significant experience in a senior finance role.

Proven ability to lead and manage a finance function, including budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.

Strong technical expertise combined with a hands-on approach.

Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel and experience with financial management systems.

Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations and business cases.

Outstanding communication skills and experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated leadership capability, with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
