This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in financial management, business partnering, transactions, tax and internal audit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, problem-solving and understanding how financial decisions drive business success.Some of the key deliverables for this role will include:Developing your knowledge of financial systems and processesExperience different finance functions, to understand their activities and the role which they play within the group finances. (For example - AP, AR, Tax, Governance etc)Understand and support the delivery of P&L and balance sheet reportingFully understand the financial operations of our business and our legal requirementsWorking with stakeholders at different levels across the businessMaintenance and development of financial controlsEnsuring compliance with internal procedures, accounting & finance standards, as well as audit requirementsBuilding an understanding of drivers of profit and performanceWorking cross-functionally with other teamsOpportunities to be involved in projects throughout the year.What we’re looking forCurrently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or AccountancyExcellent communication skills, motivated to work with teamsPassion for accuracy, precision and spotting trends and discrepancies in financial informationAn ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and numerical skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesA proactive mindset and a strong desire to learnCommitted to responsible financial practice and ability to uphold trust and transparency.To apply you need:To be enrolled on an undergraduate degree with a placement year and provide confirmation of the University you attend and the degree you are enrolled on, you must be on track to achieve a 2:2.Right to work indefinitely - we are unable to provide visa sponsorship under either the Dependent or Skilled worker visa routes.What happens next?If we like what we see on your application, you will be invited to undertake a telephone interview.
