Finance Manager - FTC 12-Months Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (possibility of a permanent position) Location: Newcastle / Hybrid (3 days working from home) Overview A growing organisation is seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Manager to support the business on an initial 12-month FTC, with a chance of becoming permanent. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who can balance operational accounting with strategic insight and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow reporting, and variance analysis. Provide data-driven insight and recommendations to senior leaders. Work closely with operational and commercial teams across the business. Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, meaningful way. Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards. Support the year-end audit and liaise with external auditors. Oversee VAT, tax submissions, and statutory reporting. Support, mentor, and develop junior finance team members (if applicable).
