We are working on behalf of a valued client to recruit an experienced  Finance Manager for a well-established business. This is a key role offering real ownership of the finance function and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.

The role You will oversee the accounts function, leading a small team and ensuring the group’s financial reporting is accurate, timely and controlled.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring and supporting a small accounts team
Producing timely and accurate management accounts, with full ownership of month-end and year-end processes
Managing budgets and cashflow forecasting across the group
Overseeing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
Managing payroll and key company renewals
Working closely with external auditors and coordinating the audit process
About you Our client is looking for a confident Finance or Accounts Manager with a strong technical background and a hands-on, collaborative approach.
You will bring:
Proven experience in a senior finance or accounts role
Experience managing and developing a small team
Strong systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills
Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail
