Core3 is working with a growing business based near Clevedon to recruit a qualified-by-experience Finance Manager to join their finance team.

How you'll make an impact

Raise invoices with customers and maintain control over payment terms, following up with customers to obtain payment as appropriate
Maintain control over the purchase ledger and assist the Director of Finance with weekly payment runs
Operate the company's expenses system and integration in to the accounting system
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and project specific accounting
Produce detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management
Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of issues
Support year-end statutory accounts preparation and act as a key contact for external accountants
Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting policies
Take ownership of financial tracking of installation and service projects, including margin analysis
Partner with operational teams to monitor project profitability and cost performance
Support revenue recognition for long-term contracts and milestone billing
Provide financial insight to support pricing, tendering, and commercial decisions
Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting, and system utilisation (e.g., Sage)
Support finance system upgrades, integrations, and reporting automation
Why you're a great fit

AAT Level 4 Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving business
