We are working with our client to find a new Financial Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, a proven track record in financial leadership within the manufacturing sector, and a recognised professional finance certification.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.

* Oversee monthend and year-end financial processes and ensure accuracy in financial statements.

* Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.

* Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

* Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with company objectives.

* Monitor cash flow, manage financial risk, and oversee cost control initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

* Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve financial performance and resource utilisation.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Finance Manager within a manufacturing environment (minimum 3–5 years preferred).

* Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (or equivalent).

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and management accounting.

* Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, or similar).

* Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
