Finance Manager / Finance Coordinator / Bookkeeper
Location: Leamington Spa
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Working Pattern: Office based

Protec is a growing engineering business based in Leamington Spa and we are looking to appoint a Finance professional to join our team. The title is flexible and could suit a Finance Manager, Finance Coordinator, or an experienced Bookkeeper, depending on background and capability.

This is a key role within the business, covering day to day finance as well as supporting financial strategy, planning, and growth. You will work closely with senior management and play an important part in shaping how the finance function develops as the business continues to expand.

Role Overview:

  • Day to day bookkeeping across the business

  • Managing purchase and sales ledger

  • Credit control and cash flow management

  • Bank reconciliations and month end processes

  • Preparing management accounts and financial reports

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

  • Working with external accountants and advisors

  • Improving processes and controls as the business grows

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, credit control, and financial reporting

  • Comfortable working in a growing and changing environment

  • Able to support both operational finance and longer term planning

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Experience with accounting software and Excel
