We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Officer to work full-time across secondary schools in the Lewisham area. Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day financial administration within the school

Processing invoices, payments, and purchase orders

Monitoring budgets and maintaining accurate financial records

Supporting financial reporting and compliance with school policies

Liaising with senior leadership, staff, and external suppliers

Assisting with audits and financial planning where required

Requirements

Previous experience working in a Finance Officer or school finance role

Strong knowledge of financial procedures and systems within an educational setting

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

A relevant degree is preferred
