Here at Pets at Home, we're rolling out a new Practice Management System across our veterinary business - and we need a Finance Project Operational Lead to make it happen. About the Role: In this pivotal role, you'll be the bridge between Practice Owners, Finance teams and project stakeholders, ensuring a smooth migration and embedding robust financial processes into business-as-usual operations. From pre-migration preparation and cutover execution to post-implementation support, you'll keep everything on track and help shape the future of our financial workflows. We can offer a 12-month fixed term contract to support the project, with hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire. What you'll do:
Lead finance readiness activities, ensuring data integrity and smooth cutover Support practices post-go-live, resolving issues quickly and protecting revenue Optimise financial processes for scalability, control and efficiency Build strong relationships with stakeholders and guide teams through change Solid understanding of financial operations, debt management and reconciliation Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Desirable:
Working towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent experience. Experience with systems implementation, data migration and tools like Provet, SAP S/4 HANA, WorldPay
