We are currently seeking a Finance Systems Accountant. The role is full time, permanent and is based on a Hybrid working model (2 office days per week the rest is from home) . The role can be London or Newcastle based.

Responsibilities:
* System Ownership & Maintenance: Administration of Sun Systems, helping ensure stability, data integrity and compliance while assisting with upgrades, configuration management and governance standards.
* Implementation & Enhancement Projects: Assist with finance system projects from design through go-live, helping translate business requirements into effective system solutions alongside IT and external vendors.
* Integration & Data Management: Support integrations between Sun Systems, D365 F&O and other enterprise systems, helping ensure data consistency and assisting with migration activities during transitions.
* Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide operational and second-line support for finance applications, assisting with performance monitoring and coordinating enhancement requests under direction.
* Collaboration & Governance: Support the Group Systems Accounting Manager as finance liaison to IT, contributing to architecture and governance discussions and helping promote best practice across regions.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven Sun Systems administration experience including Q&A 10/11, integrations, patching, upgrades and environment management.
* Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes (GL, AP/AR, management reporting).
* Accounting qualification (AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
* Able to communicate clearly, collaborate and manage stakeholders effectively across Finance and IT teams at all levels.
* Organised self-starter.
