As a Finance Systems Analyst, youll sit at the heart of our finance technology landscape, shaping, improving and future-proofing the systems that power our financial operations. Working closely with Finance, Technology and external partners, youll turn ideas into action translating change into clear, actionable requirements and supporting agile delivery from sprint planning to go-live. Youll also harness AI and process automation to simplify workflows, enhance insight and create more efficient ways of working.Key ActionsPlanning and Development Responsible for creating task breakdowns & planning sprints with assigned DevelopersMaintain project governance deliverables for changesCheck Finance Systems 3rd party invoicesSupport Developers to ensure that changes to assigned Finance Systems are delivered on time and meet requirementsAnalysis and Testing Responsible for documenting requirements for changes to assigned Finance SystemsPerform Unit Testing on new features on assigned systems to ensure they meet requirementsCoordinate User Testing activity, including documenting test scriptsPlan & Execute Go Lives with Key StakeholdersSupport Provide 1st line support on assigned Finance SystemsActively identify and support opportunities to utilise AI and process automation to streamline finance processes and improve insightWork with Key Stakeholders to find opportunities to improve existing processesRun BAU tasks & MI reports for assigned Finance Systems or TeamsPerform User Management tasks on Finance SystemsWhat do you need to thrive? Experience working with finance systems and producing operational or MI reportsSolid understanding of finance processes and systems change deliveryExperience working in Agile, sprint-based environment with developersConfident using delivery and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project)Strong technical skills with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Ability to define clear business requirements and support testing and go-liveUnderstanding of controlled systems change and governance within financeConfident stakeholder engagement and ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiencesSo, whats in it for you?
