Please do not contact the recruiter directly.About the roleWe're looking for a driven finance professional to support the timely and accurate delivery of the Group's financial position. In this role, you'll work closely with the Financial Reporting team, contributing to the preparation, analysis and review of financial data across a range of entities. You'll play an important part in statutory reporting, management accounts, regulatory returns and continuous process improvement-helping ensure robust controls and high‑quality outputs across the team.What you'll be doingSupporting members of the Financial Reporting team with day‑to‑day delivery of financial outputsPreparing complex working papers and posting financial journalsManaging intercompany settlements and delivering relevant management accountsLeading or chairing monthly entity review meetings and preparing associated financial numbersPreparing and reviewing statutory accounts, including taggingProducing regulatory returns (where applicable)Identifying process efficiencies and supporting implementation of improvementsSupporting consolidation journals, analytical reviews and ad‑hoc projectsEnsuring strong financial controls and adherence to conduct standardsCommunicating accounting principles to non-accountants and building relationships across teamsWho we're looking forWe're looking for someone who brings solid accounting knowledge, strong analytical ability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload, working independently and applying sound judgement. With excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you'll thrive in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and continuous improvement are key.Essential criteriaQualified accountant or part qualified with significant experienceStrong statutory accounting and financial reporting knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Excel, with competence in Word and PowerPointExcellent communication, organisational and time‑management skillsDesirable skillsExperience working within a multi‑entity Group environmentUnderstanding of alternative profit measures (APMs) or experience preparing regulatory returns
