Are you a driven, curious, and commercially minded Financial Accountant ready to take ownership and make a real impact? This is a broad, traditional role where you'll work closely with an experienced Financial Controller, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the company's monthly and quarterly financial reporting and control environment, through effective management of accounting processes, statutory and management reporting, and continuous process improvement.
This is not a box‑ticking job. This is a role for someone who thrives on getting stuck in, a self‑starter with energy and ambition.
Your duties will include:
Lead the monthly close and reporting cycle, including consolidation, core month‑end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal management reporting. Oversee accruals, prepayments, and journal review across the finance team. Manage balance sheet budgeting/forecasting, analyse movements, and support monthly reconciliation reviews. Support J‑SOX compliance through testing and remediation tracking. Own the full CAPEX cycle - annual budgeting, approvals, disposals, fixed asset management, and accounting.
