Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment are partnering with an award-winning organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant into their Financial Reporting team. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial and management reporting, supporting both internal stakeholders and external reporting requirements. Key responsibilities * Support delivery of technical accounting areas, including revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and lease accounting under IFRS 16 * Produce timely and accurate management accounts, statutory financial statements and variance analysis.​ * Act as a key contact during the half-year and year-end audits, ensuring audit readiness and smooth delivery.​ * Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and key financial controls for designated areas.​ * Lead and support ad‑hoc and project-based work to enhance reporting quality and control.​ * Prepare insightful reports, analysis and commentary for senior management.​ * Keep up to date with audit, regulatory and industry developments and apply them in practice.​ About you * Qualified, part-qualified or qualified‑by‑experience accountant * Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly document and communicate complex topics.​ * Proactive, confident and professional, with a genuine drive to progress and succeed.​ * Demonstrable problem‑solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.​ * Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets; experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP is advantageous but not essential.​ By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
