Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, multi-entity organisation who are seeking to appoint an Financial Analyst on a temporary basis.
Based on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre , this role sits within Group Finance and plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality reporting, analysis and insight across the group and its subsidiary companies.
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong management accountant or FP&A professional with a passion for reporting, systems development and providing meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders.

Job Duties:
Take ownership of the production of month-end management reporting for all group companies, including management accounts, management committee packs and senior leadership reporting.
Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide clear commentary and recommendations to support senior management decision-making.
Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of all financial reports, including Power BI reporting and KPI development across the group.
Create, generate and interpret financial and non-financial metrics, providing meaningful insight aligned to organisational objectives.
Build and enhance budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning models across the business.
Develop financial models and business cases to support key strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
Support the Management Accounting team in delivering annual budgets across all group entities.
Lead and manage monthly management accounting and forecasting for UK and overseas subsidiaries, including supporting commentary.
Provide high-quality financial and accounting support to subsidiary companies, adapting reporting to changing business needs and delivering user training where required.
Manage and develop monthly reporting for budget holders across the organisation.
Support finance projects and contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting tools.
Maintain and develop best practice procedures for financial reporting, controls and risk management.
Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, maintaining accurate and robust financial records.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
Take an active role in change management initiatives and support continuous improvement across finance.
Promote equality, inclusion and continuous professional development in all aspects of the role.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of the role.

Ideal experience
Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong management accounting and reporting experience.
Proven experience producing month-end management accounts, forecasts and KPI reporting within complex organisations.
Strong systems and reporting capability, including experience developing Power BI reports or similar tools.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning processes.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial and non-financial data into clear, actionable insight.
Experience supporting UK and overseas entities within a group structure.
Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, business-partnering approach.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
An interest in systems development, process improvement and change management.
