Finance Officer

Brighton, East Sussex (Hybrid working)

£30,000-£35,000 + excellent wider benefits

This is a superb and newly created opportunity to work across a dynamic and ambitious business based in the heart of Brighton.

This would suit an ambitious, active AAT, ACCA, CIMA studier, perhaps with some experience of AP and AR but now wanting to learn more working alongside a qualified Financial Controller.

Role Overview:

• Accounts payable & receivables including some credit control
• Supporting payroll
• Bank reconciliations
• Supporting with month-end duties
• Supporting with financial analysis

The ideal candidate will:

• Be studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
• Be ambitious, with an eagerness to learn new things
• Be tech literate and confident at supporting improvements so systems or processes
• Have at least 2-3 years experience in a varied finance role, inclusive of AP and AR
