Part-time Financial Controller required in Manchester About the role We are looking for a detailed-orientated and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part-Time Finance People to support our clients in Manchester. You will be crucial in leading the finance function and providing clear visibility over the numbers. About You You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self‑employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week. Your expertise should include

Preparation of management accounts/reports Balance sheet reconciliations Cashflow and profit forecasting Experience and working knowledge of Xero (ideally exposure with Sage50, QuickBooks as well) Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls Be commercially experienced Year‑end processes (but not statutory accounts) Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
