Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, statutory reporting and cash management while partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance performance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead month-end close, quarterly reporting, and compliance activities, as well as drive process improvements and system upgrades. You’ll also play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Partner with non-finance operational teams on pricing, margin analysis and performance KPIs.
- Oversight of AP, AR, treasury, payroll interface and balance sheet integrity.
- Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Oversee audits, tax compliance and relationships with external advisors.
- Mentor and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally qualified with ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent; candidates qualified by experience are also considered as suitable.
- Good technical / financial accounting knowledge as well as budgeting, forecasting and management skills.
- Proven ability to improve processes and controls in a growing or transitioning business.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver solutions.
