Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Financial Controller, a six month fixed term contract. This is a key hire for our public sector client, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing our clients financial strategies, policies and processes in a greenfield environment.Hybrid working in Aberdeen – up to 3 days a weekPublic sector organisationFully Qualified with CCAB, CIMA or equivalent.Evidence of strong technical knowledge of financial accounting standards, particularly in relation to Financial Instruments (IFRS 9)Experience of delivering an excellent finance service, particularly the collation and presentation of financial year-end accounts and information to auditors in an organisation that comes under public scrutiny.Preparing of accounting papers and providing detailed technical accounting adviceEvidence of knowledge of UK tax requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Agile approach to work, using own initiative to proactively identify improvements and follow up actionsPlease submit an updated CV for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
